Flag Football
The game of flag football is a fast-paced, non-contact game played between teams of five players. “Tackles” are made by pulling the flag out of the belt. All physical contact is heavily monitored for the safety of the players. Through flag football, players learn the value of teamwork and leadership.

UT Challenger Sports is a co-ed recreation program that enables children and young adults with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities to enjoy the benefits of team sports participation in an adapted environment structured to fit their abilities.
We are planning to have four flag football clinics consisting of skill-building activities and inter-team scrimmages. Our intent for the clinics is to learn some skills, have fun, and build a future team.
Teams and players will be lead by coaches and assistant coaches. Volunteers will be limited. We will not have one on one buddies as we do in our baseball and soccer programs.
Flag football clinics will be held on
Saturdays September 30, October 7,14, 21 from 10am - 11am at the athletic fields located 301Old Tuckahoe Rd, Petersburg, NJ.
Dates and times may vary if needed.
Please plan on arriving by 9:45am.
Player must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for clinics.
Athletes must be ages 10 and up. No special skills are required. All registrations are on-line. Sorry no walk-up registrations for the Flag Football Clinics.

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT:
Mouthpiece, athletic clothes, athletic shoes, filled water bottle with name on it.
OPTIONAL EQUIPMENT:
Knee pad, elbow pad, athletic supporter, football gloves, rubber cleated athletic shoes (NO medal spikes).
